Product Information
Based on a typical wooden train station, the Walthers Cornerstone Clarkesville Depot is typical of wooden depots built throughout North America after 1900. Many railroads adopted standard depot designs used throughout their systems, and it was not uncommon for railroads to have several nearly identical depots along a line. This classic combination depot features wood walls with wainscoting, an operator's bay, baggage room doors and two different styles of eave brackets and trim plus printed station name signs. Parts come molded in appropriate colors and clear window glazing. Although the Clarkesville Depot is based on a UP design, very similar stations were used by railroads from coast to coast.
